Privacy policy.
How we handle information for the agents who use Bundle Village and the consumers they serve.
1. Who this covers
Bundle Village (“Bundle Village,” “we,” “us”) provides a customer relationship management platform built for life and health insurance agents. This policy explains what we do with information collected through our website and through the CRM itself.
Two different groups of people are described here, and the difference matters:
- Agents. The licensed insurance professionals who subscribe to Bundle Village. For their account information, we are the business deciding how that data is used.
- Consumers. The prospects and clients whose details an agent stores in their own Bundle Village workspace. For that data, the agent decides how it is used, and we act on the agent’s instructions. If you are a consumer who wants your information corrected or deleted, contact the agent you spoke with first — they control that record. You can also reach us and we will route your request to them.
2. What we collect
Information agents give us
- Name, business email, phone number, and mailing address
- Agency or downline affiliation, and the insurance lines you sell
- Billing details — note that card numbers are handled by our payment processor and never stored on our systems
- Anything you send us in a support ticket or on a support call
Information agents put into the CRM
Agents upload and generate contact records for their own prospects and clients. This typically includes names, phone numbers, email addresses, and notes about coverage needs. Agents are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and store this information, and for the accuracy of what they enter.
Do not store more than you need. Bundle Village is not intended as a repository for Social Security numbers, full policy numbers, banking details, or detailed medical records. Agents who choose to store sensitive information of that kind do so at their own risk and remain responsible for meeting the privacy and security obligations that attach to it.
Information collected automatically
- Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used
- Records of messages sent through the platform, including delivery status
3. How we use it
- To provide, operate, and support the CRM
- To bill for the subscription and manage the account
- To send service and account notices, such as billing problems or outages
- To answer support tickets and conduct support calls
- To monitor for abuse, fraud, and violations of our terms
- To improve the product and diagnose problems
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
We do not sell agent or consumer information, and we do not rent contact lists to third parties. We do not use the consumer records an agent stores in their workspace to market anything on our own behalf.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the platform, and only as needed for them to do that work. These include:
- HighLevel — the underlying CRM platform Bundle Village is built on, which hosts workspace data
- Payment processing — to charge the subscription
- Telecommunications and email providers — to deliver the texts, calls, and emails an agent sends
- Analytics and error monitoring — to understand usage and diagnose failures
We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If ownership changes, we will give notice before information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Text messages and calls
Bundle Village lets agents send SMS and place calls. Several things follow from that, and agents should read this section carefully.
- Consent is the agent’s responsibility. Agents must obtain and document consent before texting or calling a consumer, and must honor opt-out requests promptly. Replying STOP to any message opts that number out.
- Registration is required. Sending business text messages in the United States requires A2P 10DLC registration of the sending brand and campaign. Agents must complete this and provide accurate information.
- Message content is visible to carriers. Carriers may inspect, filter, or block messages. We cannot guarantee delivery.
- We keep message records including content, recipient, and delivery status, so that agents have a conversation history and so we can investigate abuse complaints.
Message and data rates may apply to recipients. Bundle Village does not charge consumers for messages.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account information for as long as the subscription is active and for a period afterward as needed to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Workspace data an agent has entered is retained while the account is open.
Export your data before you cancel. When a subscription is cancelled, access to the workspace ends and the phone number assigned to that account is released back to the carrier and cannot be recovered. If you need your contact records, export them while the account is still active.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to ask that it be deleted, and to object to certain uses. Texas, California, and a number of other states provide rights along these lines.
To make a request, email info@bundlevillage.com. We will verify your identity before acting, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
If you are a consumer whose information sits in an agent’s workspace, that agent controls the record. Contact them directly for the fastest resolution; if you reach us instead, we will pass your request along to them.
Agents can opt out of non-essential marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link. Service and billing notices cannot be opted out of while an account is active.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and hosting on established cloud infrastructure. Agents are responsible for keeping their own login credentials confidential, for using a strong and unique password, and for removing team members who should no longer have access.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
9. Children, changes, and contact
Children. Bundle Village is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
Changes. We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above, and for material changes we will give notice in the product or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Bundle Village after a change means you accept the updated policy.
